Brightspace is a leading learning management platform designed from the ground up for mobile access on any device. Its ingrained responsive design means it can be accessed from any browser—be it a cell phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, or other—so that students can learn from anywhere and at any time. Brightspace also features offline content access to make sure that more learners can access materials from anywhere.

Adjusting to changing environments

Brightspace offers features that allow teachers to minimize learning disruptions and easily adjust on the fly. Release additional content in the event of a move from in-class to online learning. View, edit, and bulk offset activity dates and calendar status from one central location with the Manage Dates tool. Non-readers and language support

For non-readers and early childhood learners, Brightspace offers age-appropriate icons and “Funster mode,” where little ones can capture their experiences in Portfolio. A seamless, high-quality text-to-speech integration is also available.

For learners with various language needs, Brightspace auto-generates closed-caption videos in different languages for free. Various language translations of the platform are available with language packs, and content translation can be provided through our partners. You will also find many opportunities to incorporate audio and video instead of (or in addition to) text, including announcements, discussion boards, or assignment instructions and submissions.
