More than 1,000 organizations in over 40 countries around the world rely on D2L to help them transform learning.

Our working relationship with D2L has been wonderful. They're so far above some of the other LMS platforms that I've had the opportunity to work with.

- Joy Karavedas, Senior Director of Research and New Program Development, Orange Lutheran High School

A three-year exercise in frustration became a three-month pathway to success once we started to work with D2L.

- Michael Crowe, Vice President Academic, Bow Valley College

You should absolutely, 100% go with D2L. I’ve been with them for 11 years. The system is incredibly stable. It’s incredibly flexible because what you need right now today may not be the same thing you need five years from now. Businesses evolve. Customers evolve. Things change, and D2L changes with you.

Professional learning that respects educators

When the pandemic hit, D2L Brightspace helped Putnam Northern Westchester Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (PNW BOCES) accelerate the launch of remote professional learning options for over 1,000 teachers in New York State. Today, the platform provides a streamlined user experience with a flipped classroom model that helps educators use their learning time productively.

The Future of Upskilling and Professional Development

As the global digital economy grows, the demand for skilled talent is growing with it. It’s critical to encourage employees to learn new skills, but professional development initiatives are often overlooked and underutilized. To tackle the growing skill and talent shortages, D2L launched a new platform— D2L Wave. D2L Wave connects the workforce to a curated catalog of high-quality professional development courses and programs offered by top-tier education providers. To put its new platform to the test, D2L decided to become its own first customer of D2L Wave.

Reimagining the learning experience

To enhance the student experience for both its online and blended learning pathways, Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA) realized it needed to replace its legacy learning management system (LMS) with a more modern platform: D2L Brightspace. How could UMA and D2L deliver this large and complex change without disrupting the learning experience for students and faculty?

Empowering educators with community-focused learning

For years now, ISTE has been helping educators learn how to take advantage of technology. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and schools switched to a fully online teaching model, they embraced technology-enabled learning in many ways. ISTE played a key role in helping thousands of educators level up their pedagogical skills through both certification and bite-size competency-based professional learning courses.

Breaking down barriers to student success

When students enroll at Georgia State University (GSU), their ethnicity and income level are not predictors of whether they will graduate with a degree. For the past six years, African American, Latinx and Pell Grant students have graduated at or above the rate of the student body overall, and GSU has conferred more bachelor’s degrees to African American students than any other institution in the United States. So, what’s GSU doing differently? The answer lies in its sophisticated use of data and analytics.

Bringing ASL to online learners through video

When students in the U.S. pick a language to learn at school, ASL is one of the most popular choices. VHS Learning decided to build an innovative set of online ASL courses, using Video Notes in D2L’s Brightspace platform to enable students and teachers to film themselves signing answers to questions. The first course offering proved instantly popular with students, achieving full enrollment within a month of its launch.
