D2L Earns Prestigious Spot on Forbes’ 2024 Canada’s Best Employers List

Forbes and Statista recognize D2L for its company culture of continuous learning and professional advancement

Press Release

Yesterday, D2L, a global learning technology company, was ranked one of Forbes’ Canada’s Best Employers 2024. D2L was selected based on a survey of more than 12,000 Canadians working for companies and institutions with at least 500 employees. Participants were asked to rate how likely they were to recommend their current employer.

“We’re proud to be recognized by Forbes and Statista as one of Canada’s Best Employers. D2L is a passionate, mission-driven company and we’re committed to empowering every employee to grow in their careers and do the best work of their lives,” said Yvonne Bell, Senior Vice President of People and Culture at D2L. “We’re on a mission to help learners achieve more than they imagined possible — and that’s not possible without the inspired and innovative work being done every day by D2Lers.”

The annual survey, by Forbes and Statista, asks participants to assess aspects of their employer such as working conditions, potential for growth and work-life balance. They’re also asked to rate how likely they would be to recommend their employer to friends and family. This year, D2L earned a spot on the National Top 300 list.

Canada’s Top Employers for Young People Award 2024
Yesterday, D2L also received the 2024 Canada’s Top Employers for Young People Award for the 10th year. Now in its 22nd year, the competition, led by The Globe and Mail and Eluta.ca, recognizes employers touting some of the nation’s best workplaces and programs for young people starting their careers. Winners of the competition are chosen by the organizers of the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers list based on the programs and initiatives they offer to attract and retain younger workers, mentorship and training programs, and career management programs.

Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employer Award 2024
On January 16, D2L was also awarded the Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employer Award, as part of Canada’s Top 100 Employers project. This is the first year of this regional competition focused on Southwestern Ontario and its dynamic employment landscape.
