D2L Continues Winning Streak with Two Employer Awards

D2L Recognized as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers and Employers for Young People

D2L, a global learning technology company, was recently named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers (2024) and one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People (2024), presented by Mediacorp Canada Inc.

Canada’s Best Diversity Employers acknowledges outstanding employers nationwide for their exemplary diversity and inclusivity initiatives. On March 4, 2024, D2L was recognized for the second year in a row as one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers, based on its five-pillar approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion – as well as its training to enhance employee and manager knowledge and expectations. D2L is committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity through training on topics such as unconscious bias, gender equity, allyship, gender-inclusive communication, and power and privilege. 
 
“This year’s winners ensure that employees are seen, heard, and feel supported in the workplace,” says Stephanie Leung, editor at Mediacorp. “They understand that a steady dialogue with employees is vital in building inclusive initiatives and strategies that prioritize the wellbeing of staff and ensure their organization improves and becomes more resilient.” 
 
On January 22, 2024, D2L was also named one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People. Winners of the competition are chosen by competition based on the programs and initiatives they offer to attract and retain younger workers, mentorship and training programs, and career management programs. This is the tenth year D2L has earned this honor: 2012 – 2014 and 2018 – 2024.
