The Skill Shift offers insights on preparing workforces for the future

Press Release

D2L, a global learning technology company, today announced the launch of a new podcast that can deliver original insights into the latest trends, technology and resources for anyone curious about how learning and development could supercharge their business. The Skill Shift provides critical perspectives on professional skills development in a world of accelerated workforce and industry changes in which corporations face important challenges as they seek to support lifelong learning.

Guests from some of the most innovative global companies share their unique approaches to learning and development on The Skill Shift with host Malika Asthana. Every two weeks, a new episode will offer fresh insights into how these creative businesses are re-imagining workforces for today and helping to better prepare them for the future, while attempting to address critical skills gaps in their industries.

“Our goal with The Skill Shift is to feature the voices of learning leaders who are at the frontlines of responding to shifting skills needs and preparing workforces to thrive in the future,” says Asthana, host and Senior Strategy & Public Affairs Manager at D2L. “Our podcast explores real stories from employers taking advantage of investments in skills development to help maintain competitiveness in employee recruitment, retention and company growth to try and stay ahead of the game in their business.
