Building Advanced Skills with
D2L U.S. Language

With a focus on mastery, students will develop a strong foundation in spelling, grammar and vocabulary through explicit teaching, guided instruction, modeling and opportunities to independently practice these skills.

D2L U.S. Language 5–8

Our U.S. English Language Arts resources provide students with fundamental knowledge and skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening and language. The resources follow an interconnected model of literacy that unifies the strands for student learning and follows an integrated approach of engaging with literary and informational texts. Students will read and produce texts that draw on cross-disciplinary concepts and knowledge, including historical, scientific and technical subjects.
