Microlearning and just-in-time learning

Microlearning is about delivering knowledge to employees in small, “snackable” chunks exactly when they need it, and it can be particularly helpful for employees in key roles such as sales or call center reps. Automation features in a next-gen learning experience platform, for example, can be employed to deliver little just-in-time learning snippets like quizzes to promote retrieval learning, where those employees revisit the knowledge they need to have at their fingertips for specific activities, such as a sales call.

The average shelf life of skills is now less than five years.
