D2L, a global leader in learning innovation, announced that Okanagan College, has selected D2L Brightspace after a fair procurement process, to help deliver personalized, accessible, and more engaging learning experiences for its more than 15,000 learners across British Columbia.
Okanagan College is recognized for its commitment to practical, hands-on education, serving a wide range of learners with programs tailored to meet today’s workforce needs in trades and apprenticeship, business, health, technologies, aerospace, the arts, food, beverage and tourism, and more. D2L Brightspace was selected to support the College’s mission of transforming lives and communities through inclusive, digitally enhanced learning pathways that can empower learners at every stage of their journey.

Okanagan College is set to launch D2L Brightspace as its Learning Management System for students beginning in May with a full rollout in September 2026 across its four campuses in Kelowna, Penticton, Salmon Arm, and Vernon. D2L is set to help deliver future-ready learning experiences with:
- D2L Brightspace: An award-winning learning platform, designed to help educators create interactive content, deliver more personalized learning, and monitor learner progress.
- D2L Lumi: An AI-native offering, tailors learning experiences for individual needs and helps instructional designers and instructors save time while streamlining content creation.
- D2L Creator+: A dynamic content creation tool that integrates 50+ interactive content types with H5P to support more engaging and accessible learning experiences.
