Timothy Werth

Timothy Werth is the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Administrative Services at Purdue University Global. In this role, he provides visionary leadership, operational execution, and organizational support to transform processes and enable technologies to support Purdue Global strategic objectives. Previously, Werth served as the director of business process reengineering (2016–2018), senior director of finance (2018–2020), and executive director of strategic initiatives for information technology (2020–2021) at Purdue University West Lafayette. At Purdue, Werth was responsible for strategic and operational financial results for a $300 million portfolio of units, including Student Life and Intercollegiate Athletics. Werth also specializes in leading large ERP transition projects and most recently completed a transition from Workday to SuccessFactors at Purdue Global and led the $35 million Transform Purdue initiative to redesign the University’s business processes and technology to support finance, human resources, and enterprise asset management. Prior to joining Purdue, Werth held multiple leadership positions as part of a 30-year career in accounting, finance and continuous improvement. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue in 1991 and a Masters in Business Administration from Purdue University Global in 2021.

Dr. Borden is currently the Chief Academic Officer at D2L, a Professor of Communication and Education, a Davis Scholar in Residence awarded by the Akilah Institute, and a speaker / consultant / leader across higher education. As a former Chief Innovation Officer, Academic Research Director (“Think Tank”), and lifelong advocate for effective eLearning, Jeff has spoken to educators at every level, from professors to politicians to presidents to principals, in 38 countries and 49 of 50 U.S. states. A passionate teaching and learning expert, Dr. Borden is generating and communicating the best possible ideas, strategies, and philosophies to transform learning at scale. Through award winning “learning ecosystem” creation, brain-based education strategies, large scale alternate reality games for education, and other creative endeavors, Dr. Borden has implemented effective learning techniques for thousands. Having written academic anthology chapters, academic journal articles, editorials, blogs, and given interviews for dozens of academic and popular media, as well as having presented to more than 5,000 audiences in 20 years, Dr. Borden will provide practical, researched, intentional strategies for changing learning.

Amelia Manning

Amelia started at SNHU in 2004 and has been the Chief Operating Officer of the institution since October, 2017. Amelia started as an advisor in SNHU’s distance education program and has been a critical part of the organization’s growth story, growing into leadership roles within the student experience, then leading the online organization, and now as Chief Operating Officer. Amelia’s role is to ensure that the organization delivers upon both its vision and mission by advancing strategy through execution, but her passion continues to be on creating experiences that lead to increased student success and a culture of care and student centricity within our employees. Her team includes Academics, Student Experience, Analytics, Planning, and Global Operations. Amelia has a Bachelor’s degree from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont and a Master’s degree from University of New Hampshire.
