D2L, a global leader in learning innovation, recognizes Singapore Polytechnic’s use of D2L Brightspace to help them respond to their growing need for AI competencies by equipping more than 1,400 staff with foundational generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) skills.
Singapore Polytechnic designed and deployed the self-paced learning package, Jumpstart your Gen AI Journey, in just three months, leveraging the flexibility and personalization of D2L Brightspace to help track progress and unlock content based on proficiency. Singapore Polytechnic’s package includes both foundational and advanced content, which can allow staff to tailor their learning experience based on proficiency levels.
According to Singapore Polytechnic, the highly accessible and user-friendly design of Jumpstart your Gen AI Journey has helped to replace face-to-face workshops while increasing staff adoption of Gen AI tools and engagement with AI-related projects. Singapore Polytechnic also deployed intelligent agents to offer gentle nudges to staff to help maintain engagement and drive learning completion rates. Singapore Polytechnic reported that as of December 2024, six months after the program launched, 94% of staff had completed the advanced level course and 80% of staff felt the learning outcomes were clear, relevant, and well-organized.

Singapore Polytechnic designed and launched a self-paced learning package in just three months using D2L Brightspace. The flexibility of the learning platform helps staff access content based on proficiency, personalize learning paths, and deploys intelligent agents to gently nudge staff toward completion.
Six months after launching the learning program, 94% of staff had completed the advanced level course, and 80% reported that the learning outcomes were clear, relevant, and well-organized. The user-friendly design and accessibility of the D2L Brightspace helped increase staff adoption of Gen AI tools and foster deeper engagement with AI-related projects across the institution.
