D2L, a global learning technology company, today announced that it has once again earned a Platinum Club member status as part of Canada’s Best Managed Companies program. This is the eleventh consecutive time D2L has been recognized by the program.
Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s most prestigious and high-profile business awards programs. Each year, hundreds of companies undergo a rigorous independent evaluation process. Best Managed Companies are evaluated against four pillars: strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities and innovation, and governance and financials.
D2L was re-selected this year for its commitment to each pillar through strategic initiatives like its Creator+ Early Access Program, providing instructors with an easy-to-use content creation experience. Partnering with customers to drive innovation, in 2022, a portion of D2L’s monthly product features and updates came directly from customer input. The company also unveiled a new visual brand identity and narrative that is inspired by the limitless potential of learners around the globe. This award also recognizes D2L’s commitment to investing in its employees’ wellbeing and career development through flexible work options, Wellness Days and a feedback initiative identifying key areas of importance to employees: flexibility, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Canada’s Best Managed Companies program continues to be the mark of excellence for privately-owned Canadian companies. Every year since the launch of the program in 1993, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies have competed for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates their management skills and practices.
