Early adopters of D2L Lumi are using its AI capabilities to help increase the development of course content and quizzes, enhancing the overall quality and efficiency of their educational offerings. TRECA Digital Academy, a virtual public school in Ohio, has been using D2L Lumi (in beta) since fall 2023 to generate assessment items. Educators say that D2L Lumi encourages them to think differently and can present question possibilities that they may not have considered without the support of generative AI.
