In today’s learning environments, managing content across courses, teams and systems can be fragmented and inefficient. Educators and course designers are often juggling multiple platforms—leading to wasted time, inconsistent learning experiences and increased risk of outdated or duplicated content.

This fragmentation can also impact learners. Scattered and inconsistent course materials can reduce a learner’s engagement with the content and make it harder for them to access what they need, when they need it. As learning ecosystems grow more complex—with hybrid models, cross-functional teams and various tech tools in play—centralized, scalable content management becomes not just helpful, but essential.

That’s why we’re introducing Createspace: A new authoring and content management platform designed to streamline workflows and empower learners. Starting this October Brightspace customers will get early access to foundational features that lay the groundwork for a more collaborative and scalable content creation experience.

What Problems Does Createspace Solve?

Createspace will offer a centralized place for content creation and management across organizations, helping overcome several common content creation challenges. Some of these benefits will include:

  • Creating with confidence—without learners present: A dedicated space for content creation, free from the distractions of live course delivery.
  • Collaborating across teams: Enable centralized teams to co-create and manage assets together.
  • Breaking free from course silos: Content can be reused across multiple courses and contexts.
  • Assembling and distributing at scale: Support building Brightspace Source Courses for efficient distribution.
  • Using familiar interfaces: Seamless integration with Brightspace ensures a smooth transition.

When sales enablement is supported by the right tools—like a strong learning platform—the impact is not only felt, but can be measured.

What’s Coming in October

Prior to the distinct version of Createspace—of which a beta program will be released in early 2026—Brightspace customers will have early access to parts of the tool through Media Library enhancements, including:

  • Expanded media library support: Manage PDFs, images and Office documents in one place.
  • Version control: Track changes and maintain asset history.
  • Folder creation: Organize content for better structure and discoverability.

These features are just the beginning—more capabilities will be announced later this year.
