Our marketing function is a unified organization that is aligned with the customer journey, spanning awareness, engagement, conversion, and enablement. We focus on team collaboration, streamlined workflows, and creative alignment to ensure harmony across every marketing function. Our teams are spread across the world with people in North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Product Marketing

Our mission in Product Marketing is to deliver the right solution, to the right audience, using the right message. At the heart of it, we are responsible for developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and enabling the D2L teams to ensure they are aligned so they can work efficiently to generate and close opportunities.

Digital Marketing

The Digital Marketing team leads and executes our SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and Paid Social strategy. In collaboration with product marketing, demand generation, and content marketing, the team deploys omni-channel nurture programs to create and capture demand.

Demand Generation Marketing

The Demand Generation Marketing teams in K-12, Higher Ed, and Corporate are responsible for generating demand with D2L’s clients and prospects. They support their respective segments to ensure students and learners reach their potential through the tools that Brightspace offers. Our team feels passionately about the creativity that our jobs entail, and we love striving, hitting, and surpassing our goals.

Marketing Communications

The Marketing Communications team is responsible for telling the D2L strategy and promoting our brand, both internally and externally. The team is responsible for Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Social Media, and Analyst Relations.

International Marketing (Regional Marketing Teams)

Our International Marketing Teams in EMEA, LATAM, and APAC are responsible for all facets of marketing, including online, direct mail, web-based, and integrated marketing plans.
