Connected Women

Looking to spark meaningful conversations and expand your network in a fun, low-pressure way? Join us for a fast-paced, interactive session designed to ignite curiosity, exchange ideas, and connect women through the joy of learning — and a little playful energy.

D2L Site Admins

This role-based network will help Site Administrators learn from and share with each other effective practices to be more productive.

Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Allyship (IDEA)

Join us for a networking event where we can authentically be ourselves, engage in meaningful conversations and learn about other folks’ identities. This event will provide each one of us with a safe space to exchange our stories. How beautiful that is to build connections with more IDEA people at Fusion!

Instructional Technology and Design

This network is available for all people who have interest in the effective uses of instructional technology and designing and creating digital learning assets.

Looking to flow into your morning with some sun salutations? Start your day with balance. Sign-up for sunrise hot yoga. All levels are welcome, and yoga mats, water, and cooling towels will be provided.

Friday Jogging with John

Location: Meet at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown OR Hyatt Regency Hotel Entrance

Ready to hit the ground running? Lace up and join D2L CEO John Baker for a casual early morning run through downtown Phoenix.

This relaxed two-mile route is open to all fitness levels. Participants can join from either hotel location before the groups combine for the full route. Water and cooling towels will be provided.

Sensory Room

Location: Phoenix Convention Center North – Room 223

Need a sensory break? Step into the Sensory Room during conference hours where we’ve adjusted the lighting, sounds and experiences to provide a space to decompress.

Block out the world with some brown noise, sit or lay down in a variety of seating options, and experience different feeling sensations as the tension melts away from your body.

Not needing that break but want to learn more about this concept? We invite you to come and explore but ask that you be mindful of others using the space.

Fusion Challenge

The Fusion Challenge is an interactive conference-wide game designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and make connecting even more fun. Complete activities and challenges throughout the Fusion app to earn points for a chance to win exciting prizes. Attendees can earn points by:

Visiting partner booths and demos
Participating in activities
Completing a survey
Exploring labs and lounges
Scanning cactus codes hidden throughout the venue

Jump start your Fusion experience and maximize your time onsite. Register for the Full Conference package and arrive early to experience Pre-Conference workshops before the Fusion Main Conference begins.

Pre-Conference Brightspace Training Sessions

Perfect for both new and experienced users, these hands-on workshops offer opportunities to build skills, ask questions, and connect with other Brightspace users before the main conference begins.

Format: 4 x 60min Training Sessions
Attendees can choose sessions from either the Beginner or Advanced training tracks

Pre-Conference AI Workshop

Designed for attendees looking to explore how AI is reshaping course and program design — and how AI can serve as a creative partner throughout the design process.

Format: 1 x 4hour Workshop
Attendees registered for the AI Workshop track must attend the full 4hour workshop

Learning Exchange (Digital Poster) Sessions

July 8 | 3:00pm-4:00pm | Phoenix Convention Center North – North Ballroom Pre-Function Space

he Learning Exchange will take place on Wednesday afternoon, right before the Opening Keynote. Grab a welcome drink and walk around to engage with the various Learning Exchange presenters showcasing their work during this one-hour dedicated poster timeslot.
