The Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is the learning management system, Brightspace by D2L, combined with extensive Ministry content. The VLE includes features such as Portfolio, Brightspace for Parents, Lessons you can assign to curriculum standards, and more. It is available free to educators at all publicly-funded school boards in Ontario.
