This session will discuss how a micro-credentialing strategy can support ongoing professional development and personalized learning pathways that focus on needed skills and support individuals in their personal and career goals. The session will: provide a context for microcredentals, discuss how badges can demonstrate the acquisition of skills and learning, and provide essential components of a microcredentals strategy.

We will also account for the ethical implications of AI and the guardrails that need to be established to ensure fairness and transparency.
