Introducing Optimisation Services and Learning Analytics

Throughout D2L’s 24-year history, we’ve always kept the needs of customers like you at the heart of what we do. This forms the basis of our professional services teams. With the continued goal of better serving you, we’re excited to announce the launch of our new Optimisation Services Department. This will bring together three impactful services—Learning Analytics (formerly Data Solutions Consulting), Technical Account Management and Learning Administration Management. Together, these teams are ready to deliver best-in-class services.

Introduction to Optimisation Services

The goal of our new Optimisation Services Department is reflected in the name. Whether that means assisting with your technical, data or administrative requirements, we want to help you get the most out of your investment in D2L Brightspace. Aligning these teams into one department will help us collaborate and improve our training and expertise. This will also put us in a better position to share our thought leadership with customers to help you continue innovating your learning delivery.

A Fresh Perspective on Analytics

Data is an important topic, and how you use it is rapidly evolving. In launching our Learning Analytics team, we wanted to do two things—simplify the services and solutions we offer and align them with what your institution or organisation is looking for. We’ll also be expanding our team globally to better reach all our customers.
But for all that’s changed, there are a lot of things that will stay the same. Our reason for being is still to support you in making data-driven decisions through actionable analytics. We can do this by working with you to enable your teams and help them build their skills, or we can provide dashboards and visualisations in Insights Report Builder that offer ongoing insights into performance.
We look forward to partnering with you to help you achieve your analytics goals.

Fusion 2023

We’re excited to share these updates and more with you and other attendees at Fusion 2023 in Anaheim, California, from July 12–14. You’ll see the Optimisation Services Department teams throughout the event: in booths, in breakout sessions and even on the main stage.

Fusion Lounge

Under the Optimisation Services Department, we will have booths for our Technical Account Management, Learning Analytics and Learning Administration Management teams. Come by the Fusion Lounge from 10:15am–5pm on July 13 and 9am–3:20pm on July 14 to chat with an expert.
