Blended learning is an educational approach that allows students to interact with learning resources before and after they are in the classroom. This lets in-person teaching be focused more on the discussion around the learning resources. Students can then be set follow-up tasks based on their in-class learning. VLEs are integral to this process as they host the learning resources, so correct use of them is essential.
