About This Event

Teach Forward Visayas: Building Resilient Higher Education for Every Learner, Everywhere

Higher education institutions across the Visayas operate in a uniquely complex environment. Geographic distance, weather disruptions, evolving national mandates, and changing student expectations require institutions to be both adaptable and forward-looking.

Teach Forward brings together institutional leaders, academic managers, faculty, and technology practitioners to examine three critical priorities shaping the region today: creating resilient hybrid learning models that withstand disruption, translating micro-credential policy into meaningful institutional practice, and using data more effectively to identify and support students before they disengage.

Together, participants will explore practical approaches that strengthen institutions while improving outcomes for the learners they serve.

What to Expect

High-Value Discussions and Connections Engage in thoughtful conversations focused on institutional, workforce, and systemic challenges—away from the noise, and with the right people in the room.

The Credential Gap: Why Philippine Higher Education Must Close the Distance Between Compliance, Learning, and Work

A national micro credential policy is now in place, but a policy does not guarantee a credential that works. This session brings together every layer of an institution to examine the same uncomfortable question: Are the credentials we are designing, approving, building, and delivering actually worth something to the graduates who earn them?

SOLUTIONS SPOTLIGHT | Smarter Systems, Better Learning: AI's Growing Role in the LMS

Most of the AI conversation in education jumps straight to chatbots and content generation, skipping over the system already holding all the data: the LMS. This session looks at how AI is already at work inside learning platforms today, helping administrators spot risk earlier, freeing faculty from manual grading and content design, and giving students a personal assistant grounded in their own coursework. We’ll explore what’s possible now, what’s coming next, and how institutions can put these tools to work responsibly as adoption grows.
