The University of Akron adopts the Desire2Learn solution replacing its previous Learning Management System
Desire2Learn, a world leading provider of enterprise eLearning solutions, announced today that The University of Akron, a large public research university, has chosen the Desire2Learn solution to provide a robust and scalable online learning environment to its more than 24,700 learners for online and web-enhanced delivery. The decision follows an extensive and in-depth evaluation period of competitive eLearning products.

A key factor in the decision was the stable, integrated Desire2Learn Learning Environment replacing WebCT.
