Internationally Acclaimed Keynotes to Headline at Desire2Learn Users’ Conference

Creative writer of The Simpsons, Founder of National Institute for Play and Project Tomorrow CEO to address attendees at FUSION 2010

Desire2Learn Incorporated (Desire2Learn), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise eLearning solutions, is pleased to announce three internationally recognized keynote speakers that will address the hundreds of attendees from around the globe at the Seventh Annual Users’ Conference, FUSION 2010 Architects of Education, July 11 – 14 in Chicago, IL.

Headlining at FUSION are:

Dr. Stuart Brown, MD, Founder and President, The National Institute for Play will open the conference on Monday, July 12. Dr. Brown will present the growing data on the relationship of play to performance, innovation and creativity, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.

Julie Evans, CEO, Project Tomorrow, will provide a first-hand, insider glimpse into the activities, values and aspirations of the “free-agent learners” through her keynote address on Tuesday.

Joel Cohen, Writer and Co-Executive Producer on The Simpsons, will deliver the closing keynote on Wednesday, July 14. Cohen asks, and then brilliantly answers, questions essential to the success of any industry. How do you manage group dynamics to get the best from your talent? How do you find, evaluate, implement, and even discard, new ideas? How do you chart a renewable path to innovation?

“FUSION is the premier client-focused event of the year and the caliber of these presenters enhances the conference significantly,” states John McLeod, Director of Marketing, Desire2Learn. “We know that these three individuals will challenge, inspire and engage the conference attendees.”
