Leading School Districts Implement the D2L Platform to Drive Better Decisions and Student Outcomes and Improve Alignment of Core Standards to Curriculum
Highlighting the growing demand for its solutions in the K–12 market, Desire2Learn (D2L), the EdTech company that created the world’s first truly integrated learning platform (ILP), today announced five new K-12 customers. Tasked with creating learning environments that help teachers personalize the learning experience for every student to improve outcomes, more and more K-12 schools are implementing the Desire2Learn ILP as the foundation of their learning environments.

New D2L customers in the K-12 market include:
- Bellevue School District is preparing for deployment of the D2L ILP across the district as their platform for blended learning and curriculum development and delivery in 2014-15.
- Oxnard Union High School District is using the D2L platform across the high school district for blended learning purposes and to engage students and teachers.
- WHRO, acting on behalf of a regional consortium of seventeen public school divisions in eastern Virginia, is utilizing D2L technology for the administration, documentation, tracking, and reporting of training programs, virtual and blended classrooms, and online events.
- Upper Canada District School Board’s Service Excellence department is using D2L’s platform to deliver a Service Excellence course to district staff.
- West Virginia Department of Education has deployed the D2L platform across the state as a fully-integrated solution at West Virginia Virtual School. The solution is available to all students and districts in West Virginia.
