Desire2Learn and SETDA provide insight on navigating through President Obama's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
Desire2Learn Incorporated (Desire2Learn) a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise eLearning solutions, today announced the offering of two webinars focused on President Obama’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), signed into law February 17, 2009.
The ARRA will provide billions of dollars to improve education in the United States and has the potential to stimulate school transformation. Online learning will be an important facet in this redesign of schooling for the 21st century.
Attend a 50-minute discussion, entitled “Stimulating Education: Navigating the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009,” that will assist K-12 educators in traversing the economic stimulus package. A short synopsis of the package will be provided, links to important information resources shared and a Q & A session held with attendees. The webinar will be delivered on two dates:
- Tuesday, March 24, 2:00 p.m. ET
- Tuesday, April 14, 2:00 p.m. ET
Kristie Clements, K-12 Marketing Manager, Desire2Learn and Sara White Hall, Deputy Director, State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) will facilitate the discussion.
