To derive a complete picture of corporate culture and employee satisfaction, the study is composed of three separate surveys. The Employee Opinion Survey is the study’s primary tool, and measures employee engagement. Those results are then compared with the Leadership Team Survey to assess the alignment of the employees and leaders’ goals. The final component is the Human Resources Survey completed by the company’s HR team.

The organizations’ research indicates that high engagement is strongly correlated with greater employee retention, decreased absenteeism, better employee health, lower job stress, enhanced customer service, and better business results.
The 2012 survey marks the seventh time it has been conducted, and results will be published in PROFIT magazine, on stands February 8th.
