Desire2Learn Assignment Grader enables instructors to experience full-feature grading from the convenience of their iPad tablet, both on and offline. It is currently in use by instructors at over 100 institutions.
“I love the fact that you can view multiple file types seamlessly, such as moving from a text file to a spreadsheet with no noticeable lag,” remarks William Folden, Instructor, York Technical College. “The rubric and comment functions worked perfectly, and the voice feedback system seemed like it must have been optimized for the iPad mic. Even without a headset or other supplementary equipment, the audio was recorded perfectly without any ambient noise. I tried typing with my Bluetooth keyboard in the comments section and it worked immediately. In short, everything that’s been done seems to have been done perfectly.”
Assignment Grader is available now on the App Store, with a lite version available for free and the full version available for only $9.99.
“Desire2Learn mobile solutions support today’s learners who rely heavily on their mobile devices to take their learning on the go, to access their courses, and to interact with their peer, instructors, and institutions anytime, anywhere,” remarks John Baker, President & CEO, Desire2Learn. “Our mobile solutions empower instructors to work more efficiently, and for institutions to communicate directly with learners, enabling relevant content delivery that connects learners with the ways they prefer to access their learning content.”
