Desire2Learn recognized by the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce at the 2012 Business Excellence Awards
Desire2Learn Incorporated (“Desire2Learn”), a leading provider of enterprise teaching and learning platforms, today announced that it has been named the 2012 Business of the Year by the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.
The Business of the Year Award recognizes an organization that makes an exceptional contribution to the business community through involvement and leadership, and acts as a role model in the community. Desire2Learn was among a number of businesses nominated for the award by members of the business community, with the winner being announced February 16 at the 2012 Business Excellence Awards Gala.
The Chamber delivered twelve awards with over 80 nominees during the course of the event for achievements in areas such as sustainability, innovation, and professional development. Desire2Learn was awarded the Business of the Year Award for organizations with over 20 employees, with a separate award being granted for businesses with fewer than 20 employees.
