Press Release

With Desire2Learn® Learning Suite 10, clients are experiencing the most advanced platform to date combining incredible usability and personalization with feature-rich capabilities

Desire2Learn Incorporated (“Desire2Learn”), a leading provider of enterprise teaching and learning platforms, today announced the general availability of Desire2Learn Learning Suite 10, the company’s most intuitive, sophisticated, and personalized platform to date.

Since announcing the upcoming release at the University of Waterloo last month, select clients have had early access to the platform. Resulting feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and clients have been impressed with the intuitiveness of the platform along with the responsiveness of the company to educators’ evolving needs.

“I love the new look!” says JoAnn Burkhart, Associate Dean of Online Learning, Community College of Aurora. “The updated look and layout are very intuitive and it was easy to find what I was looking for.”

Desire2Learn Learning Suite 10 is the result of months of ongoing communication with clients, listening to their needs, and designing a platform that represents the next generation of learning. This process was underscored by Desire2Learn’s vigorous commitment to research and development, a hallmark of the company’s continued growth and success. Based upon the feedback of hundreds of clients, the focus of this release was on enhanced ease of use, a more personalized learning experience, and a broader depth of tools and features.

“Across every product release, our mission has always been to transform the teaching and learning experience through innovative and groundbreaking solutions that spark a passion for learning,” remarks John Baker, President & CEO, Desire2Learn. “This mission continues to be at the core of Desire2Learn Learning Suite 10 as we seek to inspire learners and help them learn lifelong. As our most advanced release to date, this platform enables learners to achieve their goals in a simple yet sophisticated environment. The system is a marriage of design and advanced technology to create an engaging environment for learners, and helps our clients make the experience more personal and inspiring.”

“The interface improvements are a huge step forward for our institution,” remarks Robby Ambler, Assistant Director, Academic Technology, Georgia Southern University. “Having the ability to build drop-down menus for access to important tools allows us to maximize both the functionality and aesthetics of Desire2Learn Learning Environment, while still preserving a campus-wide uniform look and feel.”
