They also mentioned that Brightspace supports social learning and assessment, content creation and curation, adaptive learning pathways, and integrated video across the platform. D2L’s unique approach to video and developing SMEs was also noted, as it allows any user to create short videos and share with a community of their peers, enables video collaboration, and provides video-based assessments including online quizzing, assignments and feedback for coaching.
“In growing numbers, Enterprises are augmenting their legacy LMS’ with new providers that make it easier to deliver a learning experience that’s a continuous part of work, rather than a sporadic engagement,” said Jim Lundy, CEO and lead analyst at Aragon Research. “D2L is helping enterprises shift to modern learning with its strengths in social learning and assessment, content creation and curation, and integrated video.”
“We’re pleased to be recognized by Aragon for a second year in a row in their corporate learning Globe — which we believe is a testament to the hard work of our team at D2L who continue to update and improve Brightspace,” said Jeremy Auger, Chief Strategy Officer at D2L. “Our goal is to continue to improve our product and — by doing that — better help our customers develop their workforces, inspire their people and close key skills gaps.”
