D2L Named a 2022 Candidate Experience Award Winner for Excellence in Recruitment

Press Release

D2L was named a 2022 Candidate Experience (CandE) Award winner. The global learning technology leader was recognized as having one of the highest positive candidate experience ratings in North America. This is the fourth year in a row D2L has achieved this honor.

The Candidate Experience (CandE) Award recognizes achievement in recruitment and delivering exceptional experience for employment candidates. The program helps companies improve their candidate experience while promoting the positive experiences of recent candidates. The award is presented by the Talent Board, a non-profit research organization founded in 2011.

“The CandE Awards have helped demonstrate the business value of positive hiring practices by advocating for the importance of the candidate experience and the impact on recruiting and the bottom line. Congratulations to this year’s Candidate Experience Benchmark Class for their proven commitment to promoting candidate experience excellence,” said Debbie McGrath, Talent Board member, and founder and CEO of HR.com.

“At D2L we’re on a mission to change how the world learns, and we invest heavily into making sure we have passionate, driven, and creative people building the future of learning,” says John Baker, President and CEO of D2L. “It’s an honor to be recognized for our recruitment and onboarding strategies and the experience we offer to candidates – modelled off the best practices we use with our clients. Thank you to D2L’s talent acquisition team, the Talent Board and our fellow award winners for contributing to benchmark research that makes all of us better.” D2L’s Talent Acquisition Team works to constantly improve the candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment and onboarding process. And it’s working — D2L continues to increase its employee count through an inclusive hiring process. To view open positions, please visit D2L’s career page.

The 2022 CandE Award win comes on the heels of other D2L company culture award wins. Recently, D2L’s focus on diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) and culture was recognized by the Dallas-Fort Worth Association Executives with the IDEA Award, which honors companies that have created space for the voices least heard. And, earlier this summer, D2L also received two finalist nominations by the Canadian HR Awards in the Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion, and Best Workplace Culture categories, in partnership with HRD Canada and Canadian HR Reporter.
