Relive the action

Fusion Day 1

Monday, July 20

Our Fusion adventure began with a Welcome Keynote from John Baker, President and CEO of D2L. John shared his insights on learning innovation and was later joined by Dr. Greg Fowler, President of SNHU Global Campus, and Tiana Brown, student at SNHU, for an engaging fireside chat. We also heard from this year’s D2L Excellence Award winners as they shared the stories behind their awards.

Fusion Day 2

Tuesday, July 21

Our second day of Fusion was all about accessibility. Some of our inspiring customers and partners joined D2L accessibility experts to present solutions for our heroes to add new accessibility tips and tricks to their utility belts. One of the more popular accessibility presentations was Don’t Fear the WCAG, which helped build empathy for users and remove uncertainty around creating accessible interfaces.

Fusion Day 3

Wednesday, July 22

Our first month of Fusion wrapped up with the D2L Solutions Spotlight, which showcased the latest innovations in the Brightspace platform. We then shared in-depth demos that explored specific product enhancements for Higher Ed, K-12, and Corporate. After a series of Five-Minute Flare presentations, the day closed with a look inside our Product Idea Exchange to see how customer ideas are curated and delivered as a final product.
