D2L, the global learning technology leader, today announced that it will partner with Gazing Performance Systems to streamline and optimise the delivery of its training services. Gazing has chosen the Brightspace platform to enable remote learning options for its trainees and trainers, provide real-time data analytics on trainee progression, and assist it in its global mission to bring improvements in performance to a range of different industries and individuals.
Since its founding in 1998, Gazing’s goal has been to provide sustainable improvements in performance, developing the structure, skillset and mindset needed for its customers to perform under stressful, pressurised situations. Through its network of accredited partners, Gazing provides senior executive strategy training, alongside leadership and management, through workshops, individual coaching sessions and uniquely designed training programmes.
Gazing currently operates across a range of industries and sectors, including education, the military – where it has assisted the British Army and The Gurkhas – as well as healthcare, providing council to the NHS. Gazing is also involved in rugby, having worked with the All Blacks and most recently the Welsh Rugby Union and the Namibian rugby team, helping the team prepare for its Rugby World Cup campaign. Gazing’s Red2Blue programme was used to enhance both the management team as well as the full squad’s mental focus during high pressure environments and throughout their training sessions.
To date, Gazing’s learning materials have been distributed primarily through paper-based content and email correspondence. In order to promote pre and post- workshop learning, Gazing sought an innovative, modern digital platform that could act as a central learning materials hub, and was flexible for both trainee and trainer, enabling access anytime, anywhere, and on any device.
Gazing also required robust data analytics tools to provide its customers with real time data into which trainees are accessing learning materials, and how they are developing, giving them insight and peace of mind around their return on investment.
D2L was familiar with Gazing before this new partnership was agreed. Being a customer, various members of the D2L team had received training from Gazing, so had a real understanding of its product and approach which made the early engagement stages very straightforward.

Gazing launched its individual coach certification Red2Blue workshops earlier this year and will begin to migrate attendees across to the Brightspace platform during the last quarter of 2019. The platform will be migrated onto Gazing’s new system as a centralised hub for all its customers and will eventually be rolled out as part of Gazing’s services and learning programmes.
