Sit Back and Be Inspired with Talks from Fusion
Every year, we hold our annual Fusion conference. It’s a time when we gather over 1,000 educators, education experts, and D2Lers to discuss the newest ideas and innovation in the education industry. We held the event this year in Washington, DC and we know not everyone could get there — but fear not! Below you can check out the Opening Keynote video that kicked off this year’s conference, as well as the Solutions Spotlight. Be sure to check back, as we’ll be adding more talks in the coming days.

We’ve partnered with Bongo to make virtual learning even more engaging. Starting August 4th, Brightspace Learning Environment customers will have improved functionality for online classes and discussions. Read about the integration and make sure to check out the Getting Started Guide.
Tracy Dalton from the Calgary Board of Education was one of the featured presenters at Fusion. She delivered a fantastic breakout session on design thinking, and how it can be used to create a better learning environment for students. Put on your creative hat and learn how creating engaging learning experiences can help empower students to be creators of their own learning.
Jaclyn Broadbent, from Deakin University was also one of the featured presenters at Fusion. Check out the recording of her session for some great ideas on enhancing faculty feedback for online students (and learn a little bit about Aussie food and candy as well).
