With exam season right around the corner, we’re nearing the end of the post-secondary academic year. For instructors and educators, however, the learning season is just beginning. As students turn in their final projects and classes wind down, it’s time for educational leaders to start investing in their own learning.
Performance measurement is one area of keen interest among education leaders. From understanding the use of metrics in educational processes to implementing sophisticated measurement strategies such as balanced scorecards, metrics are instrumental in helping instructors, staff, and administrators understand and facilitate student learning progress, measure retention and engagement, and broadly track educational data over time to identify trends and patterns.
Over the coming months, many of you will be seeking out conferences, seminars, and training opportunities to advance your understanding of the use of metrics in the education realm.
Unsure of what’s available? Not to worry! We’ve curated a list of upcoming industry conferences and events on the topic. See what we have planned for the month ahead.
