As a leader in integration standards, D2L provides a means for non-partners to integrate with us. But, becoming an official D2L partner offers so much more, our program is structured to meet the needs of a variety of solutions in the education space. There are three available levels in the D2L Partner Network, each designed to reflect the specific type and depth of relationship your organization is looking to achieve…
Our three tiers
1. Network level partners
Our starting tier will be of interest to startups or organizations who may be new to the educational technology space and who may have limited resources but want to extend their reach through D2L’s customer base.
2. Select level partners
The Select Member Level is for organizations who share the same client base with D2L and that are seeking a more in-depth partnership that supports engaged coordination throughout the entire software development and partner cycle.
3. Preferred level partners
The Preferred Partner Level is awarded by invitation and requires mutual investment and commitment.

Partner Network offerings
Welcome kit
The D2L Partner Getting Started kit provides D2L Partner Network logos and D2L brand guidelines to enable you to promote the partnership properly. The D2L brand guidelines provide information on the correct usage of D2L logos, trademarks, and other imagery in marketing materials.
Peer-to-peer networking opportunities
D2L is focused on creating a world class partner program: we feel it is important to invest in our partner ecosystem. We offer a Partner networking forum at FUSION so members can meet, exchange ideas and information, and share in the success of other Partner Network members.
Partner satisfaction survey
As a member of the Partner Network you have the ability to take advantage of our Customer Success program; the Partner Team will work with you to prepare materials that document your important work with your customer, discussing the challenges faced, and how they were overcome to set the client to the path to success. Once the document is approved for publication, D2L will promote it through internal and external communication channels. Customer Success story
D2L will work to continually improve the Partner Network program and ensure we remain top-of-mind with our members. Twice a year, the D2L team will reach out to the members of the D2L Partner Network to gather feedback on the D2L Partner Network program, your use of the current benefits and offerings, and to monitor your interaction with various groups in the organization.
Event co-marketing opportunities
There are many events throughout the year where we would look for Partner involvement, such as the D2L regional user forums—IGNITE, the Annual User Forum—FUSION, large scale industry conferences and tradeshows, and many more. In many cases, Partners have the ability to showcase their solutions through speaking opportunities, vendor exhibits and promotional marketing. Please contact the Partner Team for more information. Fees and additional terms and conditions are required for these initiatives.
Partner Network Technical Support
Should you encounter more complex issues when dealing with product development or customer integrations, we can assist. Technical Support is intended to help all members within the Partner Network receive timely support. Additional fees and/or contracts may be required depending on scope and partner level.
Product development
As a partner in the D2L Partner Network you may be interested in understanding where the D2L product roadmap/strategy is heading. Partners within the Partner Network will have access to at least one session at FUSION; or through webinars for the Partner Network.
Preferred partners have access to this information on a regular basis through an assigned technical resource. Where possible, early access software will be made available under additional terms and conditions that may be required.
Online technical resources and documentation
D2L Partners can access a wealth of knowledge-based resources through the D2L Developer Community that cover technical aspects from development to integration.
App Finder
As a member of the D2L Partner Network, you will have ownership of a listing for the online D2L Partner: App Finder. The App Finder is accessible through the D2L website and promoted through various media channels as deemed fit by D2L. It is viewable by clients, partners, media, analysts and technology leaders, or anyone looking for information on how to best extend their investment in D2L technology. For Select Level partners and above we will provide enhanced promotional features through the App Finder.
Community
D2L Community promotes discussion, collaboration, best practices and showcases client successes. The content is updated regularly through blog posts referencing articles on industry trends and insights, important client messages and more.
D2L regularly communicates through popular social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube with avid followers in each vehicle throughout North America and internationally. The audience is a blend of students, faculty and teachers, industry analysts, media, bloggers, and education and technology community enthusiasts interested in hearing what D2L and our partners have to say. If you would like to submit an article, post or other content for review, please contact the Partner Team for more information.
Press release
The Partner Team may be able to support Network Members in the co-creation of press releases, possibly announcing exciting events like newly completed D2L client integrations or other successful customer successes. When joint press releases are agreed upon with a Select or Preferred Level partner, D2L may include a corresponding quote from our executive team to emphasize the relevant message.
Co-marketing opportunities
From time to time, Partners may be invited to participate in thought leadership activities such as executive roundtables, solution webinars, research, and whitepapers. Partner products may also be showcased alongside the D2L platform in client demand generation campaigns based on a particular theme or solution, possibly in the form of a customer event or webinar. Also, D2L sales or technical staff may be able to attend Partner initiatives to provide subject matter expertise. Feel free to contact the Partner Team to enquire about the quarterly themes of these client campaigns, and submit a request to participate.
Access to additional D2L Network services
Additional Services are available through D2L Global Services including Customization, Implementation, Advisory & Consulting, Creative and others. If services are required, partners will engage with our internal teams. These projects are subject to additional contracts and fees.
