Are you ready for Learning Technologies Summer Forum?
- 2 Min Read
We’re looking forward to the upcoming Learning Technologies Summer Forum (LTSF) which this year takes place on 11 July in Excel, London.
LTSF 2019 promises to explore topics from this year’s earlier Learning Technologies and will no doubt provide an ideal forum for attending learning professionals to discuss trends, industry developments and how we can continue to move learning technology forward.
Upgrading digital learning
At the event, our very own Alan Hiddleston, Corporate Sales Manager, will talk about upgrading digital learning to reach every learner. Alan will discuss how participation in classroom-based training is on a downward trend but, at the same, early approaches to e-Learning are failing to deliver the results that enterprises are seeking to build and maintain skills essential in today’s world of work.
Learners are looking for digital learning options that fit with their busy lifestyles and schedules, which sees them frequently working from a range of locations and in need of simple, intuitive programmes that they can access when and where it suits them and pick up from where they left off from a range of devices.
Engaging learners; optimising outcomes
Meanwhile, learning and development teams and training providers seek ways to better engage learners, and to optimise learner outcomes. This calls for adaptability, flexibility and the delivery of personalised, accessible learning experiences. With it, needs to come the ability to support new approaches to learning which increasingly include social assessment with peer feedback and a higher level of interaction.
Underpinning all of this is the need to support course creators, so that expertise – wherever it sits within the business – can be tapped into and harnessed to provide the most effective learning content, and analytics that shed light on how learners are progressing; also enabling continuous programme improvement.
We look forward to seeing you at the LTSF and hope to welcome you to Alan’s seminar (13:45-14:15, Theatre 5). Also, don’t forget to pop by and see us at Stand 42!
