Software Engineering New Graduate Rotation Program 2019

A chance to learn both technical depth and breadth by rotating through our Product Development Department over a 2 year period!

At D2L, we are looking for Software Developers who will be graduating in 2019 to help us advance our goal of using technology to transform teaching and learning around the world.  Our software is used daily by millions of people around the world and we need developers who are up to the challenge that this presents.  We need these developers to work on a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to: distributed systems, automated test development, user interfaces, mobile and cloud computing (did you hear? We’re going all-in AWS). As a developer, you will help make dreams a reality.

What is the D2L New Grad Rotation Program? A limited intake program for graduating Software Developers, with the opportunity to rotate every 6 months within our Software Engineering department for up to a 2 year duration. D2L’s Rotational Program will give you broad exposure to multiple layers of technology and accelerate your career. You will receive mentorship from Senior Technical leaders as you rotate through these different teams. 

How will I make an impact?

We are looking for software developers graduating in 2019 who have a passion for technology and code. Beyond code, developers are expected to collaborate closely with others including technical product managers, designers and QA. Your ideas and perspectives are essential to making sure we are building the right things.

What you'll bring to D2L

  • Ability to analyze and decompose problems into potential technical solutions
  • Experience with OO design and proficient coding skills (ie:  C++, C# or Java)
  • Strong understanding of Computer Science topics including: data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; scheduled for completion in 2019
