The Senior Reporting Analyst reports directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing Operations and will be responsible for all corporate reporting as it relates to the Sales and Marketing Organizations. Job Summary:

The Senior Reporting Analyst reports directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing Operations and will be responsible for all corporate reporting as it relates to the Sales and Marketing Organizations.  Key to this role is a deep understanding of data and automated reporting solutions that will support business leaders in making informed decision. This role encompasses data normalization procedures, efficient development of reporting, and cross-functional communications that support the sale and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will show past success in managing multiple disparate data sets, turning it into a consumable format that provide a narrative for decision making.

How will I make an impact?

  • Conduct reporting and analysis that evaluates sales and marketing KPIs
  • Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports within or sourced from the CRM to monitor the progress of Sales and Marketing activities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports within other reporting tools (PowerBI)
  • Use SQL and other tools to manipulate and consolidate multiple data sets into a consumable and simple format
  • Model predictive analysis to drive and support business decisions
  • Sell the story behind the data, making connections and recommendations to the business
  • Drive data governance around metrics
  • Provide compensation reporting to the compensation team in timely manner at quarter end
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership to assess reporting requirements and develop solutions
  • Assist with maintaining capacity and quotas files
  • Assist with yearly planning cycles to provide modeling and reporting as required

Assist in the ongoing support and development of the Sales and Marketing Databases

  • Data validations, updates, cleansing logic and reporting
  • Create and maintain reports that highlight inaccurate, missing, or erroneous data
  • Ensure all data capturing processes are maintained
  • Suggest process improvement that will drive improved reporting and KPI measurement
  • Support the systems team in the development and roll out of change requests to ensure reporting accuracy is maintained
  • Work with the BI team to ensure fields (new and existing) are maintained within the BI warehouse

Communication

  • Work closely within the Go-to-market operations team, Sales team and Marketing team to communicate reporting changes, improvements or challenges to ensure alignment across the team
  • Communicate across a variety of functions and levels within the organization

Assist in ad-hoc analysis, initiatives or special projects as required

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 5+ years experience in an analyst/reporting role
  • Advanced knowledge of data modelling and architecture
  • Advanced knowledge in data visualization tools (PowerBI experience preferred)
  • Experience with a CRM system; SFDC preferred
  • Experience with SQL and databases
  • Advanced user of Excel (PowerPivot, arrays, relationship models, querying, advances formulas)
  • Self-starter with a desire to learn new processes and tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in addition to interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail oriented, self-directed, organized and efficient at time management.
  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ability to exercise excellent discretion and judgment when dealing with confidential information.
  • High energy, results oriented with a high sense of urgency.
  • Track record of success in working in and influencing a fast-paced, fast-growing global organization.
  • Team player with a strong collegial style able to operate at all levels in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Able to operate successfully in a global organization with the entrepreneurial spirit and mindset to make things happen.
