As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Partner and Channel, your mission is to communicate the unique value proposition of D2L Brightspace and our partnered solution offerings  across all segments—K-12, Higher Education, and Corporate—resulting in successful relationships and strong business growth.

You are a dedicated champion for our partners, advocating for their goals and needs and inspiring others to design and deliver better experiences for our partners, prospects, and customers. Your growth mindset drives constant improvement and innovation and is the key to your success.

At a high level, you will: 

  • Develop a deep understanding of our market, segments, buyers, and competitors
  • Collaborate with global direct and channel account managers to drive go-to-market strategy for D2L Brightspace and our partnered solution offerings
  • Plan, execute, and report on activities across demand generation, content marketing, sales enablement, and strategic communications
  • Amplify the voice of our customers and partners by telling their stories
  • Equip our teams to successfully leverage our strategic partnerships
  • Use data insights to learn, adapt, and thrive

How will I make an impact?

  • Support the development and execution of partner and channel go-to-market strategies across all segments:
    • Develop a deep understanding of our target markets and buyers
    • Create and maintain value proposition frameworks that connect the needs of our buyers with our solutions and clearly articulate the unique value of using Brightspace and our partnered solution offerings to help solve their most pressing challenges
    • Be the voice of the market—leverage and promote the value proposition frameworks as the foundation for consistent and well-differentiated messaging that resonates in the markets we serve
  • Build strong relationships:
    • Working with Product Management:
      • Develop a strong understanding of Brightspace products, features, and services and how our strategic partnerships complement our offerings
      • Create core assets that communicate the value of Brightspace and our partnered solutions, including website landing pages, slides, one-pagers, and videos
      • Identify opportunities for new partnerships
      • Engage in the release process to stay on top of new partner products, features, and services as they come to market
    • Working with Demand Generation:
      • Build successful marketing tactics to promote awareness of our strategic partnerships and their value in the markets we serve
      • Support campaign themes by crafting compelling partner content—including infographics, white papers, case studies, blog posts, and customer stories—that helps engage and inspire at every stage of the customer journey
    • Working with our partners:
      • Support onboarding, training, sales, and marketing requirements
      • Develop and execute joint marketing programs and activities—including webinars, events, and tradeshows—to help generate more partner referrals
      • Encourage and coordinate partner participation at Fusion, regional D2L Connections, and customer events as well as D2L’s involvement in partner events and conferences
    • Working with Sales and Customer Engagement, ensure that the organization is ready to sell, deliver, and support new and existing partnered solutions
  • Develop dashboards and reports to deliver clear insights on partner marketing activities and continuously use analytics to adapt, learn, and scale

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 5+ years’ experience in software marketing with at least three in product or partner marketing—SaaS experience preferred but not required
  • Experience navigating partner ecosystems to drive expansion and growth
  • Consistent track record of successfully positioning, messaging, and launching partner programs across a broad range of customer types and geographies
  • Ability to think about the big picture to drive strategic organization-wide initiatives with a keen eye for the details required to see them to completion
  • Expertise in distilling complex concepts and ideas into clear and concise narratives to communicate with customers, partners, and market influencers
  • High-impact storytelling skills that evoke emotion and inspire action
  • Robust presentation skills, including for communicating to the senior executive team
  • Strong experience collaborating with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly growing organization
