Are you actively hiring for all positions listed on your website?

What general skills are needed to be successful at D2L?

We look for people who are passionate about what they do. Our employees need to be self-motivated and show initiative in their work. In order to succeed at D2L you will need to be adaptable, enthusiastic, and driven. A sense of humor doesn’t hurt either!

What level of experience are you looking for?

We are looking for skill levels ranging from co-op students and new grads to industry experts and senior managers. D2L is growing and we are looking for superstars who can help shape our organization and make an impact on education. We welcome people who can bring experience and expertise to our team as well as those who are looking to jump start their careers.

What is the dress code in the D2L office?

D2L offers a casual and relaxed environment, which is reflected in our dress code policy. You find a range of business casual to casual attire in our office; jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, shorts and sandals are all common.

What are the working hours? Is there flexibility?

Although we expect you to work 40 hours each week if you are a full-timer, when you arrive and when you leave each day is flexible. We are a results-oriented workplace which means we expect you to put in the time to complete all projects on time and to the best of your ability. There is never a shortage of work to be done.

What is the best way to apply to D2L?

Applying online through our Careers page is best. Hiring managers have direct access to these resumes.

What happens to my resume after applying online?

Your online application will be immediately added to our database to be viewed by the hiring manager or appropriate people. We directly contact all applicants whose qualifications meet our needs for the position. Your application will remain in our database for at least six months and may be considered for positions that come up in the future.

Will D2L notify me if I do not get selected for an interview?

D2L makes every attempt to contact candidates who apply to D2L but are not selected for an interview. However, due to the volume of applications that we receive, we cannot guarantee that you will be contacted.

What can I expect throughout the hiring process?

The interview process will differ slightly from candidate to candidate, depending on the position they are being interviewed for. Most candidates contacted for an interview will have an initial phone interview and at least another two interviews. All candidates will interview with Human Resources and the hiring manager; candidates may also have interviews with members of the team that they are interviewing with, senior management, and/or others who may have close interaction with the position being interviewed for. Some opportunities that we recruit for will include assignments and/or quizzes during the hiring process. We require professional references for all of our potential hires and will conduct reference checks prior to presenting a candidate with an offer.
